On the eve of Sookie's (Melissa McCarthy) wedding, Rory's (Alexis Bledel) dad Christopher (David Sutcliffe) and Lorelai (Lauren Graham) spend a wonderful night together, but talk of resuming their relationship ends when Christopher gets a shocking message from his former girlfriend. Meanwhile, Rory is so happy to see that Jess (Milo Ventimiglia) has returned to Stars Hollow that she surprises them both by greeting him with a passionate kiss. Keiko Agena, Yanic Truesdale, Kelly Bishop, Edward Herrmann, Scott Patterson, Liz Torres, Sally Struthers, Liza Weil and Jared Padalecki also star. Amy Sherman-Palladino wrote and directed the episode.
