Luke (Scott Patterson) is overwhelmed with funeral arrangements for his Uncle Louie, who was Stars Hollow's most disliked citizen, so Lorelai (Lauren Graham) and Rory (Alexis Bledel) pitch in and work the counter at the diner, without much help from Jess (Milo Ventimiglia). Meanwhile, Emily's (Kelly Bishop) extravagant suggestions for Sookie's (Melissa McCarthy) upcoming wedding to Jackson (Jackson Douglas) cause everyone to freak out. Daniel Palladino wrote the episode directed by Jamie Babbit.

This is another one of my most favorites episodes becuase it was funny and had very good Lorelai and Luke moments. This is the episode where Lorelai shows her support to Luke and does everything she can to help him out and she actually kicked butt as a waitress. I wander if she'll get the oppurtunity to do it again in the series? One of my favorite scenes ever is the Town Meeting scene. This is the one where Taylor sees Lorelai and Rory coming in and state: "Late again I see?" and Lorelai replies with: "Yes, I hope I'm not pregnant" and then she sits down next to Luke where Taylor continues with: "You really have to work on your punctuality I banged a meeting a half hour ago," Lorelai repsonds with: "Ah, DIRTY". Then he hands Patty his gavel ("Again, DIRTY") and then he gets into the confrontation with the new dude and his vegetable stand where he's Repetative and Redundant, Repetative and Redundant. My other favorite scene is towards the end where Luke and Lorelai are standing over Louie's grave and he asks Lorelai is that is him. Then she tells him of how not Louie he is, how he made the hoppa, fixes things around her house, made a coffe birthday cake with balloon's for Rory's 16th birthday, and how he took in Liz's kid. Not too soon after, the War Reinactors come by to pay tribute to Louie despite what they said to Luke about not going. The Luke turns to Lorelai and says: "Thanks" I think that scene showed how deep their friendship went then. I could watch this episode over and over again!
